Kootenai County sheriff

Jay Peterson, Coeur d’Alene, reported Friday the $1,900 theft of stereo equipment and compact discs and $175 damage to a window and door of his 1991 Ford pickup parked at property on the corner of Fairmont Loop and U.S. Highway 95.

Frank Sandall, Post Falls, reported Monday the $12,676 theft of welding equipment and other items from his home on the 1800 block of E. Horsehaven Avenue.

Dallas Dameron, Athol, reported Monday the $5,500 theft of a 1980 Mercedes from his home on the 200 block of E. Mountain Court.
