TV converters going fast

A consumer Web site for finding coupons to buy a digital converter TV box saw the largest spike in traffic in January, according to measurement service compete.com.

The five sites that soared in visits last month, according to data at compete, were:

•Dtv2009.gov (4.2 million visitors, up 4,754 percent)

•Taxactonline.com (7.3 million visitors, up 1,640 percent)

•Taxact.com (3.6 million visitors, up 895 percent)

•HRBlock.com (5.4 million visitors, up 382 percent)

•Intuit.com (9.8 million visitors, up 364 percent)
