Center Nadia Parker hit 8 of 14 field goals on the way to a game-high 17 points Thursday as USC (10-6, 3-2) held off host Washington State 62-58 in Pacific-10 Conference play at Friel Court.

Katie Calderwood, who scored 13 points, led four WSU players in double figures. WSU (3-12, 0-4) led 38-27 at halftime.

UCLA 59, Washington 57: At Seattle’s Bank of America Arena, Lindsey Pluimer scored 16 points as the Bruins (8-8, 3-2 Pac-10) held off the Huskies (6-10, 1-3), whose Katelan Redmon (Lewis and Clark High) scored 19 on 9-for-13 field-goal shooting.

Idaho State 76, Eastern Washington 69: Natalie Doma scored a game-high 24 points on 10-for-18 shooting from the floor and added a game-best 11 rebounds as the Bengals (10-4, 2-0 Big Sky) defeated the host Eagles (3-13, 0-3) at Reese Court.

EWU’s Tatjana Sparavalo scored 19 points, one more than teammate Amy Bratvold.

North Idaho 66, Eastern Utah 50: Brigitte Boucher scored 15 points, and Cassie Pilkington and Natalie Nichols had 10 rebounds apiece to guide a 62-42 edge as the Cardinals (12-3) defeated the visiting Golden Eagles (9-7) in a Scenic West Athletic Conference opener at Rolly Williams
