Stations drop ball

The Spokesman-Review

The decision not to televise the Spokane Shock championship game was a slap in the face to the team, the city and the fans! The TV stations involved are like Congress, blaming each other.

It boils down to monetary greed. Not only did we fans get slapped, so did the city by losing thousands of tax dollars that would have been brought in at your local sports bars, etc. Not to mention wait-staff, cooks, etc., who could have used the overtime.

Whoever the persons who made this idiotic decision are, owes the team, the city, and, most of all, the fans an explanation and an apology.

May I suggest that the Spokane Shock refuse to be interviewed by the stations involved during the upcoming season!
