DECA Competition – Students in Spokane Community College’s project management class will host this daylong event for more than 800 DECA (Distributive Education Clubs of America) high school students that will include a variety of competitive events involving marketing, management, accounting and more. 7:30 a.m.-5 p.m., Spokane Community College, Main Building (Building 1), Lair-Student Center (Building 6) and Walter S. Farm Program Workshop – WSU Extension, Lincoln County Conservation District and the WSU Western Center for Risk Management Education is presenting this workshop for farmers that will discuss the benefits of buying crop insurance and the downside of using it long term, from 8-10 a.m. at Memorial Hall, 511 Park St., in Davenport, Wash.
