Chiefs lose at home

Taylor Vause scored the eventual winner as the Swift Current Broncos nipped the Spokane Chiefs 2-1 in Western Hockey League play Saturday night. Stepan Novotny also scored for Swift Current (17-15-2). Brenden Kichton was the lone scorer for Spokane (20-9-2).
