Davenport lifts PF past Shadle Park

Tori Davenport scored nine of her 13 points in the fourth quarter as the visiting Post Falls Trojans rallied for a 55-53 non-league win over the Shadle Park Highlanders on Saturday.

Davenport’s fourth-quarter heroics pulled the Trojans (5-3) ahead. Post Falls made a free throw with 3.9 seconds remaining to secure the win.

Katelyn Loper led PF with 19 points. Melanie Hagan led three Highlanders (1-2) in double digits with 12.

Other non-leaguers

Chiawana 50, North Central 31: The visiting River Hawks outscored the Indians 32-19 in the second half. Riley Holsinger led NC (2-3) with nine points.

Gonzaga Prep 73, Moses Lake 63: The Bullpups (2-0) built as much as a 22-point lead before holding off the Chiefs at ML. Tia Presley led G-Prep with 28. Jordan Loera led all scorers with 34, 15 coming in the fourth.

Medical Lake 47, Rogers 33: Amelia Cooks had 21 points and seven steals to lead the visiting Cardinals (1-2) past the Pirates (0-5). Albulena Ramushi led Rogers with 11 points.

Freeman 42, Deer Park 24: MacKenzie Taylor led the Scotties (6-0) with 10 points at DP. Stacia Obert led the Stags (0-2) with 12 points.

Newport 38, Timberlake 36: Cassie Thompson scored 13 of her game-high 24 in the second half, but it wasn’t enough for the Tigers (8-1) in a loss to the Grizzlies (4-1). Miranda Frederick led Newport with 21.

Priest River 43, Chewelah 23: Melissa Hopkins scored 23 and Taylor Stewart had 18 to lead the Spartans (6-0) past the visiting Cougars (0-5).

Lakeside (WA) 62, Northwest Christian 22: Leslie Stillar had 16 points and Kendra Lahue had 13 to go with eight rebounds as the Eagles (5-0) overwhelmed the visiting Crusaders (1-3).

Almira/Coulee-Hartline 67, Kittitas 54: The visiting Warriors (3-0), behind 31 from Madeline Isaak, cruised to a victory.

Kettle Falls 54, Tonasket 34: Nikka Yankus had 19 points to go with six rebounds and three blocks as the host Bulldogs (5-1) were too much for the Tigers.

St. John-Endicott 74, Touchet 29: Kelly Van Lith scored 20 to lead the Eagles (7-0) past Touchet.

Rosalia 65, Tri-Cities Prep 22: Taylor Nelson had 13 points to lead the host Spartans (2-3).

Valley Christian 49, Wilbur-Creston 22: Lindy Riggan and Katie Worley scored 12 apiece to lead the visiting Panthers (1-2) past the Wildcats (2-3).

Pendleton (Ore.) 73, Clarkston 63: Kellie McCann-Smith had 20 points, 10 steals and eight rebounds, but it wasn’t enough for the Bantams (1-3), who fell to the host Buckaroos.

Columbia (Burbank) 35, Lind-Ritzville 32: The Broncos’ fourth-quarter rally fell short at home. Andrea Bennett led L-R (0-2) with 10 points.

Panorama League

Wellpinit 63, Northport 36: Niquie Ali had 33 to lead the visiting Redskins (3-2) over the Mustangs (1-4).

St. George’s 40, Columbia 39: Chessey Thomas had five 3-pointers to finish with 22, leading the Dragons (4-1) past the visiting Lions (4-2).

Republic 56, Cusick 35: Tori Orestad scored 21 as the Tigers (3-1) beat the Panthers (0-3).

Springdale 83, Inchelium 18: Shelbea Rainbolt had 18 points to lead the visiting Chargers (6-0) past the Hornets (0-5).

Selkirk 44, St. Michael’s 28: Annemarie Cain had 18 to lead the visiting Rangers (2-4) past the Warriors (0-3).

Asotin 55, Tekoa-Oakesdale 46: Shelby Barnes scored 22 to lead the visiting Panthers (2-2) past the Nighthawks (2-1).

LaCrosse-Washtucna 43, Pomeroy 35: Kristen Stubbs scored 12 to lead the Tigercats (2-2) past the Pirates (1-2) at Pomeroy.
