Snow closes big-box retailers

The Spokesman-Review

Several Wal-Mart locations and the Costco store on Spokane’s north side all are closed while crews clear snow from their roofs.

A Wal-Mart spokeswoman said the North Spokane store, at 9212 N. Colton St., closed at about 11 a.m. today, while the Post Falls and Airway Heights locations remain closed.

There is no estimated date when the three stores will reopen, the spokeswoman said.

In addition, the North Spokane Costco store is closed today while crews clear snow. All other Costco locations are open, said a spokeman, and the north side store should reopen Saturday.
