Not Your Average Cider…

Angie Farmer
I know Mariah already posted the Recipes of the Week , but I thought I’d share one more. If you’re tired of the same old hot chocolate/apple cider routine during the winter, here’s a new warm drink to try… A Northwest Passage. The recipe I’m giving you is a kid-friendly, non-alcoholic twist on a cocktail, that is often served around the Northwest. (Like in Seattle…) Its cider of a sort, but slightly different. Enjoy! :D

Ingredients: 1/2 Tbsp. Butter 1 Tsp. Brown Sugar Dash of Cinn. Dash of Nutmeg Spiced Cider Drink Mix, (and appropriate amount of water-according to package directions)

All you have to do is melt the butter, boil the water, and combine everything in a mug. Nothin’ fancy, but it’s very delicious! Stay Warm!
