WSU student killed in apparent fall

Stuart John Robertson, a 21-year-old Washington State University student, was found dead Saturday morning on the side of State Route Highway 270 in Pullman.
Pullman police said Robertson had been at a Friday night party at the Chinook Village Apartments. He left around midnight and “officers believe that Robertson ended his walk near the cliffs area, which was close to the apartment building, and apparently fell about 40 feet to his death,” a news release said.
An autopsy is scheduled this week.
