Grizzlies rally past Mustangs
Chase Reynolds rushed for 109 yards and three touchdowns and Marc Mariani hauled in six passes for 200 yards and two scores to lead the fourth-ranked Montana Grizzlies (5-0) to a 35-23 win over the Cal Poly Mustangs (2-3) in Missoula.
Mariani scored on pass plays of 84 and 68 yards, and Reynolds found the end zone twice in the fourth quarter when Montana scored 21 points to overcome a 17-14 deficit.
Sacramento State 38, Idaho State 17: Terrance Dailey ran for 178 yards on 13 carries and the Hornets (2-3, 2-1) returned two interceptions for TDs in a win over the Bengals (0-6, 0-3) in Sacramento, Calif.
Durrell Oliver returned an interception 37 yards in the second quarter and Marquese Smith had an 83-yard return after an interception, scoring 12 seconds before halftime to give the Hornets a 31-10 lead.
Portland State 23, Northern Colorado 18: Drew Hubel completed 18 of 25 passes for 193 yards and a touchdown as the Vikings (2-4, 1-3) defeated the Bears (1-5, 0-4) in Greeley, Colo.
Zach Brown kicked three field goals to help the Vikings win their first Big Sky game of the season.
Bryan Waggener threw for 208 yards and a TD and Korey Askew returned an interception 88 yards for a score for the Bears.
N. Arizona 23, Montana St. 10: Michael Herrick threw for 388 yards and a touchdown as the Lumberjacks (3-2, 2-1) scored 16 fourth-quarter points en route to an upset victory over the 24th-ranked Bobcats (3-2, 2-1) in a game that kicked off in light snow and 19-degree weather in Bozeman.
Mark Iddins threw for 235 yards and a TD for Montana State.
