Sky honors two Eagles
Tue., Sept. 29, 2009
A couple of Eastern Washington women picked up player of the week honors from the Big Sky Conference.
Ashley Hamilton, a senior setter who averaged 12.25 assists per set and hit at a .600 clip as the Eagles won six of eight games in posting two road victories, was honored in volleyball. It’s her first.
Brittany Sparks, a junior who scored three goals in two matches (a win and a tie) to eclipse the school’s single-season goal record with eight, shared the award in soccer. It’s her second of the season.
