Died Coach Enzo Bearzot, who in 1982 led Italy to its first World Cup triumph in 44 years, died at the age of 83. He died in Milan and had been ill for several years. Bearzot first guided the national team in 1975 and led the squad at the 1978, 1982 and 1986 World Cups.
