Washington State Cougars

RECORD: 14-7 overall, 4-5 Pac-10

COMING UP: Today vs. Arizona State, 7 p.m.; Saturday vs. Arizona, 5:30 p.m. (FSN).

OUTLOOK: As the second half of the Pac-10 season begins, WSU welcomes two schools that served as foils in the Cougars’ most schizophrenic weekend. After playing a tense, taut, tight game in Tucson on a Thursday night – finally defeating UA 78-76 on DeAngelo Casto’s buzzer-beating layin – the Cougars were blown out 71-46 in Tempe. The Sun Devils (15-7, 5-4) could be without senior point guard Derek Glasser, who sprained an ankle earlier this week. Arizona, tied for first with California at 6-3 (12-9 overall), also features a senior at the point, current Pac-10 player of the week Nic Wise.
