Vandals top Wolf Pack
Rachele Kloke had 26 points and eight rebounds and Charlotte Otero chipped in 18 points and five assists to power the Idaho Vandals to a 69-62 victory over the Nevada Wolf Pack in Western Athletic Conference play in Reno on Saturday.
Idaho (10-19) evened its record at 8-8 in conference play and will be the fourth seed at this week’s WAC tournament. The Vandals will play No. 5 seed New Mexico State on Wednesday at 2:30 p.m. at Reno.
The Vandals led from the 17:41 mark of the first half until the finish, but they weathered a scare when Nevada (16-13, 10-6) pulled within 56-55 with 6:23 left.
