Freezing rain causes several collisions

The Washington State Patrol is responding to several collisions due to freezing rain. All lanes of westbound Interstate 90 is completely shut down at Barker due to several collisions just east of Sullivan Road. It is unknown when it will be reopened, but alternate routes are available. There are at least four collisions on eastbound Interstate 90 in Spokane County and Adams County west of Ritzville. A jackknifed semi is partially blocking Highway 2 near Airport Road west of Spokane. WSP is also responding to at least two other collisions on westbound I-90 in Spokane County. Another jacknifed semi that crashed about 7:30 p.m. is partially blocking I-90 near the Broadway exit. Its tank, which holds 100 gallons of fuel, ruptured and some fuel has leaked onto the roadway, a dispatcher confirmed. No injuries have been reported in those crashes.
