Look for One Tree Hard Cider in local bars

There’s a new player on the local cider scene: Spokane Valley-based One Tree Hard Cider, which has begun distributing draft cider to bars and restaurants.

Unlike most smaller craft cideries, which focus on drier, more traditional styles, One Tree specializes in the sort of sweeter cider you might find in supermarket six-packs. The initial offerings are the flagship semisweet cider – which starts out drier and finishes sweet, with fresh apple flavor – and a more tart, refreshing ginger cider that also includes lemon juice.

So far, One Tree’s draft accounts have included Jones Radiator, Manito Tap House, Post Street Alehouse, Press Public House and Waddell’s, as well as Nu Home Brew & Bottles for growler fills.

One Tree also plans to bottle cider, and to open a customer service area at its production facility. For more information, see www.onetree hardcider.com.
