Italian dinner June 21 benefits YWCA program

The YWCA is offering a taste of Tuscany on the night of the summer solstice.

Its ninth annual Italian dinner and auction – “An Evening in Tuscany” – starts at 6 p.m. June 21.

Proceeds benefit the YWCA’s Alternatives to Domestic Violence Safe Shelters.

The menu, prepared by Spokane chef Gina Lanza, features an artichoke-pesto lasagna dinner. There will also be a wine bar and dessert.

The event takes place on the YWCA’s rooftop courtyard, 930 N. Monroe St. Tickets cost $50. Seating is limited.
