Hawktoberfest Community Food Drive Featuring carnival games, bounce house, prizes and $4 dinner that includes a slice of pizza, chips, carrots and a drink. Cost of admission is a nonperishable food item to stock the shelves of the food pantries at St. Pius X Catholic Church and Coeur d’Alene Food Bank. Scenic Excursion Train Rides Saturday and Sunday. Fall Compost Fair and Leaf Festival Spokane County residents can learn how to compost. The first 100 households will take home a free compost bin.
