No one hurt in drive-by shooting
No one was injured when someone shot up an empty car on Euclid Avenue near Rebecca Street Wednesday afternoon, police say.
The drive-by shooting was reported just after 4 p.m., said Spokane Police Department spokesman Cpl. Jordan Ferguson. The person who called 911 gave a description of the car involved and a sheriff’s deputy spotted it and pulled it over on Thierman Road about 10 minutes later, Ferguson said.
Two men were inside the car and Anthony R. Lazanis, 39, is facing a charge of drive-by shooting. The incident appears to be domestic violence related, Ferguson said.
Lazanis was convicted of vehicular homicide in 1997 for a crash that killed a 16-year-old girl in 1996.
