Beaver Valley defeats Spokane Braves
Kyle Hope scored two goals to lead the Beaver Valley Nitehawks to a 6-2 win over the Spokane Braves in Kootenay International Junior Hockey League play at Fruitvale, British Columbia on Tuesday.
Michael Pruss added one goal and two assists for the Nitehawks (9-2-0-0, 18 points), who tied the Castlegar Rebels for first place in the Kootenay Conference’s Neil Murdoch Division.
Connor McIntosh and Mason Jones scored for the Braves (2-8-0-0), who have lost four consecutive games. McIntosh’s goal, assisted by Elliot Plourde, cut Beaver Valley’s lead to 2-1 in the first period.
