Around the nation: Miami holds off Nebraska in overtime
Michael Badgley kicked a 28-yard field goal in overtime, and Miami wasted a 23-point fourth-quarter lead before beating Nebraska 36-33 Saturday in Miami Gardens, Florida.
Brad Kaaya passed for 379 yards and two touchdowns for the Hurricanes, who got 125 rushing yards and a score from Joe Yearby. Badgley finished the night with five field goals for Miami.
Tommy Armstrong threw four TD passes, three of them in the final 8:36 of regulation for the Cornhuskers (1-2), rallying his team from a 33-10 deficit after Miami had two safeties ejected for targeting.
Wake Forest 17, Army 14: Freshman quarterback Kendall Hinton scored two touchdowns, Mike Weaver kicked a 47-yard field goal as time expired, and the Demon Deacons rallied past the Black Knights in West Point, New York.

Navy 45, East Carolina 21: Record-setting quarterback Keenan Reynolds ran for five touchdowns and 142 yards as the Midshipmen (2-0, 1-0 AAC) dominated the Pirates (1-2, 0-1) in their American Athletic Conference debut in Annapolis, Maryland.
Reynolds already owns the record for rushing touchdowns by a quarterback with 70 and is now fourth overall for the most by any player.
Iowa 27, Pittsburgh 24: Marshall Koehn kicked a 57-yard field goal as time expired to push the Hawkeyes (3-0) past the Panthers (2-1) in Iowa City, Iowa.
C.J. Beathard had 258 yards passing for Iowa, which drove 31 yards in under a minute to set up Koehn’s winning kick.
Florida 14, Kentucky 9: Will Grier and Kelvin Taylor each rushed for short touchdowns and the Gators’ (3-0, 1-0 SEC) defense registered six sacks and two interceptions to hold off the Wildcats and extend their winning streak against Kentucky (2-1, 1-1) to 29 games.
