Police seek details on Sandpoint man found injured in roadway
The Idaho State Police is trying to learn how a 19-year-old Sandpoint man was seriously injured and left in a roadway early Monday morning.
Jordan T. Williams was found unresponsive in the southbound lane of Boyer Avenue at the intersection of Mountain View Drive in Sandpoint at 12:41 a.m.
Williams was flown to Kootenai Health, where he was in intensive care Monday and unable to communicate with investigators
Police aren’t sure if Williams was struck by a vehicle or fell out of a car, or was injured in some other way, according to ISP Trooper Jonathan Cushman. The agency is asking anyone with information about what happened to call Cushman at (208) 209-8730.
The Bonner County Sheriff’s Office, Sandpoint Police Department and Ponderay Police Department are assisting in the investigation.
