Sandpoint man dies after hitting deer on motorcycle

A Sandpoint man died early Saturday morning when he hit a deer while riding his motorcycle.
Robert C. Stevens, 33, was in the 900 block of North Center Valley Road north of Sandpoint around 2:30 a.m. Saturday when he hit a deer and his motorcycle went down, according to the Idaho State Police.
Stevens, who was not wearing a helmet, died at the scene.
