Senior forward Kyle Wiltjer was named the West Coast Conference Player of the Week for his efforts in a pair of Gonzaga wins, league officials announced Monday.

Wiltjer earned the honor for the second time this season, which gives Gonzaga four such honors on the year along with Domantas Sabonis’ two.

Wiltjer averaged 25.0 points and 5.0 rebounds to go along with 10 three-pointers last week against San Francisco and Santa Clara.

On Thursday against Santa Clara, he scored 35 points that included seven 3-point baskets. He was 10-for-15 from the field for the game and 7-for-10 from behind the arc. He was also 8-for-9 from the free throw line to go along with five rebounds, two assists and a block.

On Saturday, he made three more 3-pointers and scored 15 points on 6-for-14 shooting. He grabbed five more rebounds and had a season-high four assists with another block.

Wiltjer averages 22 points per game for Gonzaga and has 14 20-plus scoring efforts.

Gonzaga will be back the road this weekend at Loyola Marymount on Thursday at 7 p.m. and on Saturday at Pepperdine at 9 p.m.
