Sandpoint slips past Lakeland
Devin Norris scored 21 points, including nine in overtime, to propel Sandpoint to a 56-47 IEL 4A victory over visiting Lakeland on Thursday. Sandpoint plays Moscow at 8 p.m. Monday in a 4A Region I loser-out game at North Idaho College in Couer d’Alene, with the winner of that game drawing top seed Lakeland at 8 p.m. Wednesday in Grangeville.

Glenn Gosse poured in 34 points on 11 of 17 shooting to lead visiting Moscow (2-15) over Timberlake 69-58 in Spirit Lake. Thomas Hauck led the Tigers (4-14) with nine points. Timberlake faces Kellogg at 6:15 p.m. Monday in a first-round 3A District I game at NIC.
