Jacob Thorpe’s Week 13 Pac-12 picks

PULLMAN – Well, we have made it this far. Our last full week of picks and we are barely hovering above .500 against the spread.

That can all change this week, and how fitting that should be the case. No team was able to lock up the Pac-12 North or South division heading into the final week, and so of course we here at Pac-12 Picks should also be sweating until the final games are played.

Wish us luck.

No. 6 Washington at No. 23 Washington State

UW by 6: Perhaps the most important Apple Cup in the rivalry’s history, when you consider the stakes for both teams.

The pick: Will be in Friday’s paper.

Arizona State at Arizona

ASU by 3: One team is playing for a bowl game, the other is playing for its first conference win.

The pick: ASU 35-14

Oregon at Oregon State

UO by 3: The Beavers are coming off their first blowout win over a conference opponent in three years, and they’re never going to get a better shot to beat the Ducks.

The pick: OSU 31-28

UCLA at California

UCLA by 3: The Bruins are a better team than they’ve shown this year. Now is a chance to take out some frustration and finally get that running game on track.

The pick: UCLA 38-28

Rice at Stanford

Stanford by 35.5: Stanford will score a lot of points and Rice will score few.

The pick: Stanford 49-3

Notre Dame at No. 12 USC

USC by 17: The most important game for the Trojans this week is the one in which they are not playing.

The pick: USC 42-21

No. 21 Utah At No. 9 Colorado

CU by 10: The Utes will put up a good fight, but with last week’s loss only one team is playing for a conference title.

The pick: CU 31-24

Jacob Thorpe’s records
