Kellogg woman dies in late night crash

A Kellogg woman who died in a crash late Thursday night was not wearing her seat belt, the Idaho State Police reported.

Alecia T. Arthur, 37, was driving east on Silver Valley Road near mile post 52 just after 10:30 p.m. when she crossed into the westbound lanes and then drove off the road. She hit a jersey barrier and an embankment before her car overturned, the ISP said.

Arthur died at the scene. The cause of the crash is under investigation.
