Morning prep roundup: Carson Cloaninger’s 23 points keeps Colfax undefeated in league with win over Davenport

Carson Cloaninger scored 23 points on 8 of 10 shooting and the visiting Bulldogs (6-2, 6-0) beat the Gorillas (3-4, 3-3) 57-54 on Tuesday in a Northeast 1A league game.

Peyton Buchanan led the Gorillas with 19 points and 10 rebounds.

The Gonzaga Prep Bullpups kept rolling as they notched their seventh win in seven tries with a 76-48 win over Shadle Park. Anton Watson score 22 points to lead the Bullpups. Jake Groves had 13 points for the Highlanders.

Lewis and Clark girls won another league game with a tight victory over Mt. Spokane.

Dominique Arquette scored 16 points and the Tigers (5-5, 3-1) beat the visiting Wildcats (5-4, 2-1) 45-44. Jacinta Buckley scored 12 points with 14 rebounds and Anna Reeves added nine rebounds for the Tigers. Aspyn Adams scored 16 points for the Wildcats.
