Expect Interstate 90 delays Thursday near Snoqualmie Pass, says DOT

SNOQUALMIE PASS, Wash. - Motorists should expect delays on Interstate 90 during two different periods Thursday in the Snoqualmie Pass area.
The state Department of Transportation announced the delays on Wednesday afternoon.
One lane of the eastbound interstate along Keechelus Lake will be closed from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Crews will be placing barriers to improve the traffic transition where the road narrows from three lanes to two, the DOT said.
At 11 p.m., the interstate will close in both directions east of the summit for removal of snow on a partially constructed wildlife crossing. That work is estimated to take about an hour.
