Spokane Shadow women’s first team dominates Twin City 4-0

The Spokane Shadow women’s first team dominated play in a 4-0 Northwest Premier League romp over visiting Twin City at the Polo Grounds on Saturday.

Katie Greene (Mead), Samantha Heilman (Gonzaga), Havana Johnson (Lake City) and Sarah Cox (Gonzaga) scored for the first team, which upped its record to 6-1-0, 18 points, third in the NWPL table behind the Seattle Stars (7-1-0, 21) and Washington Timbers (6-2-1, 19).

Shadow 2 fell earlier in the day 3-2 to reigning Evergreen Premier League champion Vancouver Victory. Christian Haas (Whitworth) scored twice for the Shadow. Shadow 2 falls to 1-8-0 on the campaign.
