Spokane Chiefs announce dates for training camp at the Arena

The Spokane Chiefs will hold their annual training camp Aug. 23-26 at the Arena, the team announced Thursday.

Three camp teams will compete in ice sessions Aug. 23-25. The roster will then be cut heading into the Red-White Game at 1 p.m. on Aug. 26.

Ice session times and roster information will be announced later.

All training camp activities are free and open to the public.

The Chiefs begin their preseason on Aug. 31 against Portland in Everett.

Spokane’s Western Hockey League season opener is Sept. 22 at Tri-City.
