OLYMPIA – The Washington State Patrol says a reported a possible abduction at a downtown Olympia park was a hoax.
The Patrol said Thursday that all involved have been confirmed safe and detectives will work with prosecutors on possible charges.
Earlier Thursday authorities asked for information about a possible abduction late Wednesday night at Heritage Park.
The Patrol said troopers were called after people reported seeing five to six males dressed in white, plastic hooded-jumpsuits grab three people and restrain them with zip ties.
