OLYMPIA – The Washington State Patrol says a reported a possible abduction at a downtown Olympia park was a hoax.

The Patrol said Thursday that all involved have been confirmed safe and detectives will work with prosecutors on possible charges.

The Patrol said troopers were called after people reported seeing five to six males dressed in white, plastic hooded-jumpsuits grab three people and restrain them with zip ties.
