Prep basketball: Central Valley routs defending champion Kentridge

Lexi Hull scored 23 points and Central Valley defeated defending 4A State champion Kentridge 57-39 in the girls division at the Martin Luther King Showcase at the Showare Center in Kent, Washington.

The game was a matchup of the previous two Washington 4A girls state champions.

Post Falls 52, Enumclaw 39: Jacob Pfennigs scored a game-high 24 points and Post Falls relied on some shut-down defense to defeat Enumclaw 52-39 at the boys division of the Martin Luther King Showcase at the Showare Center in Kent, Washington.

The Trojans’ strong defense, despite committing only eight fouls, held Enumclaw to 10 or fewer points in three separate quarters. Tanner McCliment-Call scored 13 for Post Falls and Kaden Anderson had 20 to lead Enumclaw.
