Baseball: Desmond Parisotto tossed a shutout, striking out seven and visiting Freeman (18-3, 12-1) beat Chewelah (16-4, 12-2) 3-0 in a Northeast 1A league game. Keegan Cottrell hit a two-RBI double for Freeman.
Softball: Jesse Dupuis finished 4 for 5 with three runs and struck out six over three innings and Mt. Spokane (16-2) beat visiting Ferris (1-18) 19-4 in Greater Spokane League play on Friday.
