Spokane police investigating East Central stabbing
A man was critically injured Sunday night when he was stabbed in Spokane’s East Central Neighborhood.
Spokane police said an off-duty firefighter from Western Washington reportedly found the stabbing victim at about 7:30 p.m. in the 1600 block of East Sprague Avenue, according to a news release. The firefighter immediately began providing first aid, and within minutes medics and officers arrived. The victim was transported to a local hospital with critical injuries.
Investigator are continuing to gather information. Police said Monday they do not have a suspect.
