Morning prep football roundup: Jake Parola’s touchdown leads Gonzaga Prep over Shadle Park

Jake Parola ran for 82 yards and a touchdown and Gonzaga Prep (3-1) defeated visiting Shadle Park (1-3) 36-22 in a nonleague game on Friday.

Soccer

Margo Schoesler had one goal with and assist and Mead (7-2-0) beat visiting Lewis and Clark (4-3-0) 2-1 in a Greater Spokane League game.

Volleyball

University 3, Rogers 0 (25-10, 25-7, 25-8): Lauren Fleury had 10 kills and the Titans (4-1) defeated the visiting Pirates (1-7).
