Prep softball: Brynna Singer helps Mt. Spokane top Central Valley

Mt. Spokane 4, Central Valley 1: Brynna Singer went 3 for 3 with a run scored and the Wildcats (6-0) beat the visiting Bears (5-2) on Friday. Gianna McCoy went 2 for 4 with a run scored for Central Valley.

Mead 22, Ferris 6: Tori Veter went 4 for 6 with five RBIs and the visiting Panthers (4-3) beat the Saxons (2-5). Peyton Cushner added a homer among four hits for Mead. Katelyn Strauss had three hits, including a home run. for Ferris.

Lewis and Clark 5, Rogers 2: at Hart Field Kylie Pester had 14 strikeouts, went 1 for 3 with a home run and the Tigers (3-4) beat the visiting Pirates (0-6) at Hart Field. Jasmine Ereaux went 2 for 3 with two doubles for Lewis and Clark.

University 7, Shadle Park 4: Makayla Marshall hit a first inning three-run home run and the visiting Titans (6-1) held off the Highlanders (4-2).

Idaho

Timberlake 6, Priest River 2: Becca Malloy struck out eight and the Tigers (6-1, 4-0) defeated the visiting Spartans (2-4, 1-2) in the first game of a doubleheader.

Timberlake 11, Priest River 0: Jaycee Jerome homered and drove in three runs and the Tigers (7-1, 5-0) defeated the visiting Spartans (2-5, 1-3) in the second game of a doubleheader on Friday. Ashlyn Mallet added a homer and drove in two for Timberlake.
