Cora Priscilla Marr McNutt-Reems

Cora Priscilla Marr McNutt-Reems celebrated her 100th birthday on May 30. She has lived in Eastern Washington for 58 years.

McNutt-Reems met her first husband, William McNutt, at Seattle Bible College. They were married in 1941. She later remarried to Roy Reems. They met in Wenatchee and were married in 1994.

She worked as a speech pathologist.

McNutt-Reems attributes her long and healthy life to watching her diet, always reading and learning, and never smoking or drinking.

Her most memorable moment of the past 100 years was getting her first telephone.

McNutt-Reems has two children: Ruth Gunnarson, of Yakima, and Helen Kennett, of Spokane. She has four grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
