49-year-old Spokane man dies in Lincoln County crash, WSP reports

A 49-year-old man from Spokane died when his car struck a cliff in Lincoln County on Friday, the Washington State Patrol reported.

The crash occurred about 11:30 a.m. on state Route 28, seven miles south of Davenport, when a 2007 Ford Fusion driven by Leon Tabor was traveling westbound, went into a ditch and launched 100 feet “into a rock cliff side,” according to a WSP news release.

Tabor was wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash.
