Anthony Marcelli Centennial Announcement
Anthony “Tony” Fredrick Marcelli
Anthony Marcelli celebrated his 100th birthday Aug. 15. He was born in Collinsville, California, and has lived in Eastern Washington for one year.
He met his wife, Marie Marcelli, in San Francisco, and the couple was married in 1949.
Marcelli was a bombardier in World War II, and later an accountant for Kaiser Aluminum, as well as an accounting teacher at various colleges in California and Nevada. He is also very proud of his military accomplishments and family.
He credits his long and healthy life to good Italian genes and a good sense of humor.
His children are Sandy Marcelli of Spokane Valley, Cris Burkhart of Greenacres and Jim Marcelli of Terra Linda, California.
Marcelli has three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
