Three-year-old Melody Lopez was found safe and has been reunited with her mother, police announced Tuesday evening.

An Amber Alert was issued Monday evening for Lopez. Police believed she was with her father, Jose Lopez-Madrigal, 32, who was suicidal.

Police have a suspect in custody but did not indicate if Lopez-Madrigal was the suspect.
