Who in the Spokane area has made a difference in 2020? Let us know

From staff reports

Without a doubt, 2020 has been a most challenging year. From the pandemic and the subsequent economic turmoil to devastating fires and and a bruising presidential election, we know people are tired, stressed and even angry.

We also know there are many people in our community who are doing amazing things to heal the wounds of 2020 and bring about lasting change.

Thanks to generous support from Numerica Credit Union, our annual series, Difference Makers, will return in December with stories about Spokane-area residents who have gone above and beyond to improve life in the Inland Northwest.

But first we need your help to identify 10 people from our region who have shown courage and generosity toward their neighbors, who have stepped up to do the hard work needed to implement change or who have quietly worked behind the scenes to bring cheer to their community.

If you know of someone who did the extraordinary in 2020, please consider filling out our online form at www.spokesman.com/sections/difference-makers-2020/.
