Tom and Marian Flahavin celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary by purchasing a new, bright red car as a gift to each other.

Their son and his spouse are John and Shannon Flahavin, of Verdadale.

The couple were married Aug. 6, 1960, in Colton, Washington. They have two grandchildren.
