First Bite offers first look

Get a sneak peek at Inlander Restaurant Week offerings during the First Bite for Second Harvest event Jan. 31.

The third-annual fundraiser is presented by the Dairy Farmers of Washington and takes place from 6 to 8 p.m. at Barrister Winery, 1213 West Railroad Ave.

Participating eateries include Downriver Grill, Palouse Bar & Grill, Honey Eatery and Social Club, Max at Mirabeau, Timber Gastro Pub and more. Plus, guests will get the chance to sample cheese from Washington state creameries as well as wines from Barrister. Live music will be provided by Kyle Richard.

Tickets are $31. Proceeds support Second Harvest’s mission of providing healthy food to those in need in the Inland Northwest.

And attendees will be among the first to know restaurants’ menus for Restaurant Week, which runs Feb. 21 to March 2 at more than 100 Inland Northwest eateries. During the 10-day event, participating restaurants will offer three-course meals at fixed prices of either $21 or $31.
