Hayden man dies in Montana crash

A 48-year-old man from Hayden, Idaho was killed in a rollover crash in southwestern Montana. The Montana Highway Patrol says the man was a passenger in a car that went off Dry Creek Road north of Belgrade at about 8:30 p.m. Tuesday. The man's name was not immediately released.

"The post, written by Scott Yochum, said on the Fourth of July the bartender at Nordman kicked him out because of his service dog, Lucky."

‘CHiPs’ Estrada sworn in as Idaho reserve cop

The man famous for his many years as a motorcycle cop on the hit '80s TV series "CHiPs" is now a reserve police officer in St. Anthony, Idaho. Mayor Neils Thueson swore Erik Estrada into office on Saturday at City Hall in this town of 3,500 people. Estrada plans to work with the police department in protecting children from internet predators.

Facebook Friend Eric Barro tells of his close encounter with a older scofflaw who let one of his two dogs poop on the McEuen Park lawn without picking it up. Eric gave the eye to the guy who simply mouthed an empty promise that he planned to retrieve a doggy bag from the McEuen Dog Park. But never did.

An armed robbery suspect who was shot by a bystander last week at the STCU Spokane Valley branch was arrested Tuesday night at a nearby hotel, the Spokane County Sheriff’s Office said Wednesday. Jeremy D. John, 44, is being treated at a local hospital for injuries to his right arm and hip.

Man jailed in death of ex-mayor’s grandson

A man has been arrested in the death of the grandson of a former Post Falls mayor who died last August after alledgedly being forced at gunpoint to eat a fatal dose of methamphetamine. Authorities have arrested a felon they believe responsible for the death of 22YO Evan Mychal Larking, whose grandfather Clay Larking served 13 years as mayor.
