It’s great to be back, friends. I celebrated my 25th anniversary here last week. So I’m going to have a theme this year. I’m going to come up with what I call my Silver All-Time All-North Idaho teams for football, volleyball, and boys and girls basketball. I might even have a tip of the cap next spring for the top athletes in the 25 years I’ve been around.

CdA opens season with rout of Lakeland

The Coeur d’Alene High football team had a lot of pent-up energy Friday. The Vikings, wanting to put back-to-back 3-6 seasons in the rearview mirror, came out firing on all cylinders and never let up as Coeur d’Alene hammered the Lakeland Hawks 57-7 in a season opener at Corbit Field.
