Chiefs place three on Hockey Canada’s roster for international tournament

The Spokane Chiefs have had three players selected for Hockey Canada’s 2016 World Under-17 Hockey Challenge. Forwards Koby Morrisseau, Eli Zummack and defenseman Ty Smith have been named to the Hockey Canada’s roster for the tournament, which will be played Oct. 27-Nov. 5 in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario.

Central Valley’s Orrino scores four times in 49-0 win over Rogers

Central Valley took the field Thursday against Rogers and simply gave the ball to Braedon Orrino. The senior running back put on a four-touchdown display to quickly put the game out of reach. The Bears, who piled up 249 yards on the ground and 460 total yards, also got two touchdowns from Jase Edwards as Central Valley crushed Rogers 49-0 Thursday at Joe Albi Stadium.
