Pog: Play It, Drink It
We have Hawaii to thank for Pog, the popular kids’ game played with replicas of old milk bottle caps.
The island state also has brought us POG, the passion-orange-guava fruit juice blend from Maui’s Orchards Hawaii that gave the game its name.
Purists may sneer at the sugar-sweetened drink (11 percent actual juice), but that’s balanced by the natural tartness of the fruit. And kids are bound to like it - even though no Pogs come with the carton.
