City Offers Reward Over Racist Fliers
The city has launched a fundraising drive to finance a reward fund for information on who distributed racist fliers that targeted blacks in Idaho Falls last month.
“This has been escalating for a year and a half. No one should be afraid to live in Idaho Falls,” said Wes Deist, chairman of the Cultural Awareness and Human Relations Committee. A 19-year-old man phoned the Post Register the day after the incident to claim his group, the White Youth Coalition, was responsible.
